One of the federal concert promoters talked to us about organizing well known 30 Seconds to Mars and Tokio Hotel tours and about his cooperation with Radario:
“Like most concert market players I was working with the large ticket monopolists for a long time. At first, I was completely satisfied with their service. It was expected that I was promoting their names at my own cost, pay a high commissions and have a very limited number of options for tickets sales management and accounting. Customizing these systems to my needs was very expensive, so I decided to find a company which wouldn’t have above mentioned negative sides.
During one of the meeting with my colleagues from “Mir” – a concert company (Krasnodar), I noticed a Radario booklet. We quickly organized a meeting and it was enough for me to understand, that I want to work with them. Low commission, intuitive online purchasing for users, integration with social media, technical support and customer loyalty did the job for me. We signed the contract.
Our first case together was 30 Seconds to Mars tour for 11 cities in Russia. We understood that their target audience consists of young people from 16 to 30 years old and our main sales channels became social network Vk.com and mobile widget designed to help young audience to buy tickets via their smartphone.
With Radario’s technical support we integrated ticket-selling apps to the social community pages and groups. Installation of each app took about 5 minutes. Sales campaign was on for about 6 month and statistics showed that this way of ticket selling is easy and understandable for our audience: you can buy a ticket right where you’ve found the information about an event.
First Russian city of the tour was Sochi. Couple of days before the show Radario team arrived to teach my staff on how to scan e-tickets at the gates.
Radario provided scanners with built in software, so each scanned ticket immediately synchronized with the system. It took from 3 to 5 seconds to check each ticket in real time, so entrance queue was smaller than usually. I would also like to note, that we had a couple of last minute venue changes and support team processed customer refunds quickly and according to our conditions.
We were satisfied with our partnership. We’ve launched sales for the following tours since then: PavelVolya, Apocaluptica, PolinaGagarina, Dance on TNT, Hollywood UndeadmTokio Hotel and many others. For example, Sales for Tokio Hotel concerts were launched in 14 cities. We’ve used official online tour group in social media and our website nagastroli.ru as main sales channels.”

European music festival
Radario continues working with big music festivals, which is one of our biggest interests. Our long-term clients are Flow Festival in Helsinki and Super Bock Super Rock in Portugal. Each event has it’s own special aspects.
For example, Flow Festival tickets have been sold not only via official festival website, but also via the resources, which we’ve created specially for Russian-speaking audience. For Super Bock Super Rock we also created a separate website and integrated widget-button to sell tickets.
World-famous electronic music festival brings more than 20 000 people together each year to enjoy the most touching electronic music performed by world’s most respected DJ’s. In 2016 the festival will come to Baltic countries for the first time and will be held at the famous Tallinn Song Festival Grounds. Ticket sales are performed with technical support by Radario and all advance sale tickets are sold out already.
Cooperation with international music festivals requires integration with different payment systems sometimes. For example, while we work with CloudPayments in Russia, we connected European payment system Stripe for Electronic Family festival in Europe. You can check out platform widgets in the “Tickets” section on their website and the official EF Facebook community.
Festival organizers manage and control sales and promotion from one place now. They’ve customized the color scheme of all sales channels according to their brand color – orange.
We would like to note that festival tickets market is of a similar level between Russia and the Western countries. We managed to make a ticket purchase process very easy for the end customer – just 3 clicks. It also integrates with Passbook and other tools for the best customer convenience.

White label and special payment processing conditions
Radio Record, the company that organizes the Sensation festival, is one of the leading broadcasting stations in Russia, the biggest event orginizer, a well known music label and the main Russian booking operator of electronic music industry.
Radario started to provide technical support to Radio Record in 2014 and since then this cooperation became one of the best examples of using white label (which means that all widgets of our platform are presented on behalf of Record Tickets brand). This name is used on all event websites and social media apps. White label is a very important part of promotion because it allows organizers combining all available tools on behalf of one name and minimizing the presence of other brands.
Radario and Radio Record work under special payment processing conditions: tickets sales revenue is transferred directly to the organizers account and Radario charges Radio Record for the platform usage separately, according to the amount of tickets sold. Radio Record covers the payment processing fees. The platform allows organizers to set this option up themselves and choose the side which will pay the fees (customer of organizer).
The biggest organizer of dance music events actively works with the client database. At the moment it contains more than 50 thousand people: loyal customers and event visitors.
Radio Record is one of the organizers who understand how important it is to combine all customers in one place, to promote its own brand and not other channels and to work with client directly. Rock in Rio
Ticket sales for one of the world’s largest music festivals
Rock in Rio is a series of rock music festivals, which are held in Brazil, Portugal, Spain and USA. Rock in Rio is known as one of the biggest music festivals in the world, which attracts more than 2 million visitors each year. First Rock in Rio festival was organized in 1985 in Rio-de-Janeiro.
Lisbon version of the festival was launched in 2004. Average audience in Lisbon is 400 to 500 thousand people each year. This year festival celebrated its 30th anniversary and continues for 5 days with a little break.
More than 40 world famous musicians preformed on several stages in Parque de Bela Vista. Celebrities like Maroon 5, Queen, Adam Lambert, Hollywood Vampires, Korn, Fergie, Bruce Springsteen and many others have confirmed their participation.
Cooperation between Rock in Rio and Radario is quite significant for the international tickets market. Russian companies have never provided technical support of ticket sales for events of such level before. Rock in Rio worked with the global Ticketmaster and Eventim companies, which are monopolists of the international ticket market, before signing the contract with Radario.
Radario system is used for selling tickets on the official Rock in Rio website (tab “Tickets”), the official event page on Facebook (tab “International Online Tickets”), also Radario became an official tickets distributor in USA, Canada, Eastern Europe and CIS for the festival, which was held in Lisbon (Portugal) from 19 to 20 of May and from 27 to 29 of May 2016. World biggest ticket agencies, like Ticketmaster, Viagogo and etc. were receiving ticket information via Radario platform.
The price of one day ticket on official Rock in Rio website is 69 euro. For Russian visitors the price was 6 990 rubles. Tickets will be on sale starting from February, 11th.
In Russia, Radario was the exclusive tickets distributor between the main market players.

Rock in Rio is a significant business case involving one of the world’s largest and well-known festivals. West Game Development Forum is one of the larges game development industry events in Russia. Engineers and developers from all over the world come together for this event, which offers them many different lections, seminars, discussions for professionals and fans of the industry.
This case is interesting because of non-standard platform widget integration. Organizers created their own form, which the user should fill in and then is forwarded to one of the payment pages. Payment page type depends on answers in the form (whether the user is a student or not).
This form can be used to launch loyalty programs, (“Have you ever attended our event? – Here is a discount for you”), to attract the target audience (your project has an educational purpose, so you give students a discount), to learn more information about visitors (you can add any discount matter).

Oxxxymiron
European tour of the biggest russian rap artist
Oxxxymiron is a Russian-speaking rap and grime singer, who caused a sensation with his series of sold out concerts in autumn of 2015.
Working with the artists directly is one of the formats that Radario platform allows. With our technical support tickets to all Oxxxymiron concerts are being sold via several channels: concert agency website, Vkontakte app, radario.ru and via mobile app.
Also we have made the website for the European tour of Oxxxymiron where we integrated our widgets.
The target audience consists of young people, who were raised during technology era and actively use social media. So in this case a mobile app was chosen as the main sales channel and all the advertising activity directed users to this app. The app was installed more than 13 thousand times.
